First 2 Weeks

Hi everyone!
So I know its been 2 weeks and I haven't posted anything, that's because I have been so busy.  I will do my best to post something every week for you guys.  So with that being said here is what weeks 1 was like.  So On Monday, January 13th I checked into the Dorms! I got assigned to Chatham Square apartments (the one i wanted) Unit 19.  I go all of the roommates that I requested. So when I went to check in it was at the Vista way apartments.  They give you a guide book with all the info for the program and housing.  Then they give you your new apartment number, take your picture, give you your key and your housing ID.  After that I was assigned to go to casting.  They had a bus that took us to casting.  All you do there is finish new hire paperwork and get your assignment. After that I went home, unpacked and hung out with all 5 of my roommates.  My roommates are Amanda(we share a room) Amber, Cheyanna, Toni, and Whitney.  I spent Tuesday unpacking. On Wednesday Amanda and I wend to downtown Disney and visited her sister Aurora at work.  Thursday was a cleaning day.  Friday was my 1st official day as a Disney World Cast Member! Friday I went to Traditions, they go over what working here is like, you can get little characters for participating, I got Mickey, Donald, Pluto, and  Goofy.  They gave me my first Mickey ears! I don't want to give out too much info on Traditions since the rest is supposed to be a secret. After Traditions Toni and Amanda picked me up and we went to the Magic Kingdom! Amber met us there, we also got to meet our 1st Disney character as Cast Members... it was ARIEL! The next day I had Discovery Day at Epcot, where I work at The Seas with Nemo and Friends/ Turtle Talk with Crush.  It was so cool you go into one of the classrooms at Epcot and then they give you a tour, again just like with Traditions I cannot give away much more than that. After that we went to the parks the next few days.  On Tuesday January 21st was my 1st day of training at The Seas, and yesterday I finally finished training and can swing on my own at The Seas.
